Community Portraits 2026

In a recent conversation over my Ridge Portraits project another photographer asked an interesting question. What’s next?
The answer was easy, keep it going. But that question resurrected an idea that I’ve had for some time, expanding the photo series to the broader community. And it seemed appropriate to have this new collection coincide with the 250th anniversary of the our independence.
The only request is to provide a short bio, memory, observation, or reflection to accompany the photo with the final collection of portraits and stories to be archived at our public library as part of the local history collection. A time capsule to highlight our community in this year of celebration.
