This portfolio is as a time capsule with my photographs capturing the ever-changing face of this diverse Cincinnati neighborhood. I grew up here and have witnessed the evolution of the community, with more changes on the way.
There is no specific reason why I chose to photograph these buildings other than they presented themselves in the right light or I simply found them interesting. Or, I felt the need to document them before they disappeared! In my trove of black and white negatives from the last 50 years I have many iterations of the Ridge. As I rediscover these older photographs and digitize them I will post them as a juxtaposition to the new. Stay tuned!
